Description of Columbus Apartment close to the city in Budapest

In the Summer of 2008 we opened the recently refurbished 2-room apartment (38 sqm in size) in Zuglo the inner part of the green area in Budapest. The flat is located on the 1st floor of a 3-storey quiet building. Main tourist sights of Budapest are within reach by the nearby excellent public transportation facilities (bus #7, 73 and 173, tram #1 and 1A and Metro Line #2 has an easy access from the flat within 10 minutes by the above buses and trams). Vaci Street and the traditional pedestrian zone of Budapest is just 3 bus stops. The neighbouring area offers the open-air activities in the green (City Park, Zoo, Szechenyi Bath, Heros Square etc.). Our location is benefiting from being close to the following main travel points: Keleti Railway Station, Stadionok Bus Station within 1-3 stops and Ferihegy International Airport is just 13 kms; recommended transport from the airport is Zona Taxi.

Though you can rely on the fantastic public transportation in Thokoly Street you will not suffer from the noise because the windows are facing either to the courtyard or a side street. The flat consists of a bedroom, a living-room with kitchen corner, a bathroom with bathtub and a small entry room. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a large sofa-bed in the living-room accommodating up to 4 people total.

The apartment is furnished and equipped in a modern way with matching colours. It is suitable for long term rental as it is spacious, bright and calm; close to the center of Budapest but letting you enjoy being close to some freshness.

Notes:

Minimum 3 nights' fee is due to pay. All taxes and all our available services are included in price, no additional payments for amenities. The place is self-catered so breakfast is not included. We apply actual daily exchange rate (of the Central Bank of Hungary) if paying in HUF.

We supply bed linen, sheets, blankets, towels and toilet-paper, iron with ironing board and washing machine.
Parking is possible in the street or in public garages (must be solved individually).

The person who hands you the keys when you arrive at the flat will provide all necessary information regarding your stay in the apartment and in Budapest. We hope to make your stay in our city a pleasant and comfortable one.

All taxes are included in price. Since Columbus Apartment are self-catered accommodation breakfast is not included. Payment in cash upon arrival (no cheques or credit cards accepted). For long stays we apply individual prices.
